Jurgen Klopp’s side in 2019/20 have been the only team who have been able to earn a title victory during that time and they also ran them extremely close on the final day of both of the 2018/19 and 2021/22 campaigns. Across that time, De Bruyne has been the leading playmaker in the division and has reached 112 assists in the Premier League alone across his career in England but his latest comments suggest his reign of terror could soon be over.

Speaking to media outlets in Belgium, he revealed that he is open to a move to the Middle East at this stage of his career. “Saudi? At my age you have to be open to everything. De Bruyne could joins the likes of Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo, N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema in the Saudi Pro League which was won by Al-Hilal, who went unbeaten across the 34-game campaign and were fired to victory by former Fulham forward Aleksandr Mitrovic who netted 28 goals.
