Liverpool transfer rumours rated: Harvey Barnes a priority, Loris Karius decision will suit all parties
Barnes an attacking priority
Harvey Barnes has been placed all above potential attacking recruits, as per Fichajes.
The Reds have been linked with the Leicester winger for some time, with Klopp previously hailing him as ‘unbelievable’.

Hide AdBarnes, 23, has recorded two goals and two assists for the Foxes this season.
- Rumour rated: it wouldn’t be a surprise if Barnes has been discussed during recruitment meetings.
He’s a top-class talent who’s only going to improve at his age.
But Leicester hold virtually all of the bargaining chips when it comes to Barnes.

Hide AdHe recently signed a new long-term contract to keep him at the King Power Stadium until the summer of 2025.
That means that Barnes would come at a premium and Liverpool might not want to pay over the odds.
Karius’ deal to be cancelled
Loris Karius' forgettable Anfield career looks set to come to an end in January, according to the Daily Mirror.
The goalkeeper hasn't played for Liverpool since his horrific display in the 2018 Champions League final.

Hide AdKarius recently admitted he had hoped to leave Merseyside in the summer but could not get the move he desired.
Now the Reds are ready to terminate the German's contract and allow him to leave on a free transfer in the winter window
- Rumour rated: this would make complete sense and would suit all parties involved.
Liverpool would free some of their wage bill up rather than paying Karius until the end of the season.

Hide AdThe stopper, meanwhile, can leave on a permanent basis. That will open up more options than being available on loan for the rest of the campaign.
Jovic weighed up
Fichajes also claims that Liverpool are monitoring Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic.
The Serbia striker has fallen out of favour at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, making just six appearances in all competitions.
His lack of game time means that the Reds’ recruitment team are currently considering a swoop.

Hide Ad- Rumour rated: Jovic has struggled for action throughout his three seasons at Madrid and some might be concerned he couldn’t make the grade on Merseyside.
However, the 23-year-old has been a deadly striker during two loan spells at Eintracht Frankfurt.
In the 2018-19 campaign, he bagged 27 times in 48 games and played a key role as the German club reached the Europa League semi-finals.
Klopp knows how difficult it is to score goals in the Bundesliga and that could be a big factor behind any potential decision.

Hide AdReds in Tchouameni race
Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni is being tracked by a host of clubs including Liverpool, reports Tuttosport.
The midfielder has enjoyed a good start to the campaign, netting two goals in 17 games for the Ligue 1 side.
Tchouameni is a regular for Monaco at the tender age of 21. He's also been capped five times by the France national team, helping them win the Nations League last month.
Juventus, Real Madrid and Chelsea are also in the race, with the former weighing up a bid in January.

Hide Ad- Rumour rated: swooping for Fabinho from Monaco in the summer of 2018 paid huge dividends for the Reds.
Tchouameni has established himself as one of the best young prospects in Europe. To be playing week in, week out at his age is a fine feat.
Liverpool are lacking a direct replacement for Fabinho and missed him significantly in the 2-2 draw against Brighton.
Klopp is likely to be in the market for a midfielder next summer with James Milner's contract running down.
But, again, it comes down to a potential price tag. Tchouameni is out of contract at Monaco in 2024 so might not be cheap.
