Getting the bus is a great way to see the city and concert-goers are being urged to use public transport when travelling to and from Anfield.

There will be no public parking available at Anfield stadium for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour this week. The global superstar will perform three sold-out gigs at the home of the Reds - on June 13, 14, 15 - and parking enforcement will be operating.

Luckily, travelling by bus is fast, frequent and convenient, with regular services that will get you to Anfield from Liverpool city centre in around fifteen minutes - as well as special shuttle services on concert days. To see just how easy the journey is I hopped on the number 26 Arriva service from Liverpool ONE bus station, which stops at Stand 5.

Getting the bus is a great way to see the city and concert-goers are being urged to use public transport when travelling to and from Anfield due to a number of road closures and predicted heavy traffic congestion.

On my journey I managed to get the whole upper deck to myself and, while I know it will be far busier on concert days, I had an easy trip and got to take in the sights around me.
